Public meetings have been scheduled for Oceana and Mason counties in Michigan on Jan. 18 and Jan. 19 to provide information about the Aegir offshore wind farm project.
Scandia Wind Offshore (SWO) and its Norwegian partner, Havgul Clean Energy, is conducting a feasibility study in Lake Michigan, outside of Mason and Oceana counties, for a proposed 1,000 MW wind farm.
County officials have requested that the developers hold informational meetings in both counties to provide residents with a chance to learn about the project.
