Sany Electric has commissioned its first wind turbines in the U.S. The five 2 MW turbines were installed at a project located in Ralls, Texas. The project broke ground in December 2010.
Baker RD helped in the construction phase of the contract, and AVIC International partnered with Sany in the U.S. to facilitate the building of the wind farm, which is selling power to Xcel Energy.
Sany bought the project from American Seawind, a local wind farm developer. More turbines are planned for the site, according to the company.
