SANY America says it has opened a new corporate headquarters in Peachtree City, Ga. The company has begun transitioning its assets to the new office and manufacturing facility, and employees have begun reporting to the location.
While SANY is a newcomer to the North American heavy-equipment market, the company is well established in Asia's booming construction sector. This new location will help the company increase its manufacturing presence in the U.S., SANY says.
‘We are looking forward to ramping up production in our manufacturing area,’ says SANY America's president, Jack Tang. "By the end of this year, we should have our first concrete pump trucks roll off of our assembly line, and then it will only be a short time before we are producing our cranes and hydraulic excavators as well.’
The new facility features 40,000 square feet of office space and a 360,000 square-foot manufacturing and assembly area.
