RPM Access Taps Vestas For Kansas Wind Farm

Midwestern wind farm developer RPM Access has tapped Vestas to supply wind turbines for the 72 MW Marshall Wind Farm, located in Marshall County, Kan.

According to Vestas, the contract includes the supply and commissioning of 36 V110-2.0 MW turbines as well as a 20-year service contract. Installation and commissioning of the turbines is expected in the first half of 2016.

The Vestas turbines will be perched on 95-meter towers and will provide the developer with optimal wind conditions.


The agreement marks the first turbine supply contract between the two parties.
