Enel Green Power's U.S. subsidiary says the 148.6 MW Rocky Ridge wind farm, located in Kiowa and Washita counties, Okla., has achieved commercial operation.
According to Enel, the Western Farmers Electric Cooperative is purchasing the output from the wind farm, which features 93 1.6 MW wind turbines. In its release, the utility did not specify the turbine's supplier or the duration of its power purchase agreement.
Rocky Ridge was one of two company-owned wind farms that were financed via a tax equity partnership agreement – worth about $340 million – with a syndicate led by JP Morgan, the company says.
