The Rhode Island Supreme Court will hear arguments today in an appeal of an agreement between Deepwater Wind LLC and National Grid, the Boston Globe reports.
Toray Plastics Inc. and Polytop Corp. have challenged the power purchase agreement (PPA) between the wind developer and Rhode Island's primary utility, arguing that it will increase power costs.
The Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission approved the PPA in August 2010.
