The American Council On Renewable Energy's (ACORE) Renewable Energy Technology Conference & Exhibition (RETECH 2009) will take place Feb. 25-27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Attendees of RETECH 2009 will be offered a certificate of completion that will certify what RETECH curriculum was completed and which sessions were attended. Attendees can pre-select a curriculum of up to eight sessions within a theme.

‘The industry is demanding higher levels of educational value in this kind of conference, and ACORE is again leading the way, with new standards of excellence and the new certificate of completion,’ says Moana Erickson, ACORE's director of strategic planning and development.

The conference features six tracks and a total of 48 speaker sessions with over 200 speakers covering wind, solar, hydro and other sectors of renewable energy.

RETECH 2009 will feature a joint session with the Electric Power Research Institute to develop a new research and development plan for the U.S. There will be a special economic development workshop for state government officials to learn how to attract renewable energy companies to their respective states, counties and cities. In addition, there will be a venture capital workshop about developing successful new ventures in the energy industry ecosystem.
