Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Americas recently received a siting permit from the North Dakota Public Service Commission for the second phase of its 300 MW Glacier Ridge Wind Farm.
According to a local report from Inforum, the commission has unanimously OK’d construction of the wind project on 25,000 acres of land near Valley City. A siting permit for the first phase of the facility was given last year.
RES Americas expects construction on the project to be completed by year-end 2020.
