REpower Systems AG's new technology center has been officially inaugurated in Osterronfeld, Germany. About 470 employees will work in the new complex.
A newly installed permanent monitoring system (PMS) will allow 24-hour monitoring of REpower's global fleet of more than 2,500 wind turbines.
The 11,700 square-meter research and technology center consists of two structures: a nine-story office building and a second trapezoid-shaped building with four floors.
