RBB Engineering and GEARTECH have announced that they are collaborating to provide customized on-site training in gear and bearing reliability.
The training is based on material developed by GEARTECH’s Bob Errichello over his 50 years in the gear and bearing industry. Training on-site, rather than sending students to an off-site location, results in very large savings, according to RBB Engineering.
The company specifies that currently available training topics include the following:
- Gear and bearing failure analysis;
- Gear theory and rating;
- Bearing selection and rating;
- Gear and bearing heat treatment and metallurgy; and
- Fundamentals of gear and bearing lubrication.
