Raleigh Wind Project To Receive ecoENERGY Funds

Invenergy LLC's 78 MW Raleigh wind project in Ontario will receive up to C$24 million over 10 years through Canada's ecoENERGY for Renewable Power program.

‘This clean energy project at the Raleigh wind farm is helping to create high-quality jobs and a sustainable energy source for Ontario's future,’ says Joe Oliver, Canada's minister of natural resources.

The project, developed, owned and operated by Invenergy, consists of 52 wind turbines and is expected to produce enough energy annually to power 20,000 homes in Ontario.
