Broadwind Energy Inc. has announced $8 million in new tower orders from an unidentified U.S. wind turbine manufacturer. Broadwind will produce these towers in its Manitowoc, Wis., facility for 2016 delivery.
Broadwind interim CEO Stephanie Kushner states, “The production tax credit that was passed just a few weeks ago is having an immediate impact on the industry by bringing late-stage order discussions such as this one to closure.”
