EDF EN subsidiary enXco has completed construction of the 198 MW Pomeroy Wind Farm. The project, owned by MidAmerican Energy Co., is located in Iowa's Pocahontas County and consists of 132 1.5 MW sle GE wind turbines.
The project involved 67 landowners and incorporates nearly 8,200 acres of agricultural ground.
‘The Pomeroy construction has been largely changed by the weather conditions, in particular the heavy rains in the summer of 2007, but enXco is proud to have completed this project according to plans,’ says Tristan Grimbert, president and chief operating officer of enXco.
