Ohio Power Siting Board Extends Building Certificate For Planned Wind Farm

The Ohio Power Siting Board has extended a certificate to begin construction for the Hog Creek wind farm, located in Hardin County, Ohio.

According to a spokesperson for the Ohio Public Utilities Commission, the certificate was extended to March 22, 2018, adding that if not for the extension, the wind farm would have expired this month.

The developer, Hog Creek Wind Farm LLC, is planning to build a merchant-based, 48.6 MW project that will be powered by 35 wind turbines.
