Princeton, N.J.-based NRG Energy Inc. has released details in its second quarter results for three wind farms the company is developing as part of its RepoweringNRG program.
Through its subsidiary, Padoma Wind Power LLC, the company has reached a stage of advanced development with respect to the three wind projects, totaling approximately 442 MW (before partners) and 350 MW (net ownership), according to NRG Energy.
Two of the projects are located in Texas. One is scheduled to commence construction this fall, while the other is scheduled to commence construction in the summer of 2008. The remaining project is located in Southern California – with construction planned for the early summer of 2009.
