North Carolina's Port of Morehead City recently received its second shipment of wind turbines, which were discharged from the M/V PAC Alkaid to three trucks for transport.
The turbines, which have a capacity of 750 kW, were manufactured by RRB Energy and will be deployed at a project in California. Additional wind turbine shipments are likely in the coming months, according to the port.
