Nordex has secured an order from STEAG New Energies GmbH for the installation of a 27 MW wind farm in France.
Nordex will supply nine Generation Delta N117/3000 turbines for the Onze Muids project, which STEAG previously acquired from developer Volkswind. The contract also includes a 15-year service agreement, and the wind farm is scheduled to go online in early 2016.
Onze Muids is Nordex's second joint project with STEAG. In 2013, it had supplied 18 N117/2400 turbines for the German wind farm Ullersdorf.
