Nordex has been awarded a contract for the construction of the 17.5 MW Manfredonia wind farm, located in Apulia, Italy. The project will consist of seven Nordex N100/2500 turbines, which will be installed beginning in spring 2014.
Nordex signed the deal with Eolsiponto Srl, a joint venture between Capital Riesgo Global SA and Alerion Clean Power. The contract marks the first time that power producer Alerion has opted for Nordex turbines.
