A shipment of 10 Nordex wind turbine towers slated for wind farms across the U.S. has arrived in Washington at the Port of Vancouver USA.
According to the port, the towers arrived July 8 aboard the M/V Pac Suhail, which was commanded by Capt. Corbeanu Gheorghe of Romania. The towers are currently in storage.
The M/V Pac Suhail, a multipurpose container and bulk carrier, sailed from Samarinda, Indonesia, on June 20 before docking at the Port of Vancouver. The vessel will sail to Camden, N.J., Houston and New Orleans before departing the U.S.
