Nordex has secured orders for two Irish wind farms totaling 42.5 MW of capacity.
The Killaveenoge wind farm, near Drinagh in County Cork, will feature 10 N90/2500 turbines with a 125-meter tip height for a local Irish developer. Turbine delivery is scheduled for October.
Element Power’s seven-turbine Coollegrean wind farm, located near Brosna in County Kerry, will feature N90/2500 turbines with a 115-meter tip height. Delivery is scheduled for November.
Both projects, which will enter full operations in summer 2017, include a 15-year full-service contract with Nordex.
