Turbine maker Nordex says it has sold the Aubigeon and Les Touches wind farms to investment company GN Renewable Investments. A purchase price was not disclosed.
According to Nordex, the Les Touches project will be powered by six N100/2500 turbines, whereas five N100/2500 turbines will power the Aubigeon wind farm. Construction has already started on both projects, with each expected to generate electricity by summer 2015.
GN Renewable Investments, which signed 10-year service contracts with Nordex for both projects, has the option to purchase one additional turbine for the project, adds the turbine maker.
