Nordex has received a 28.8 MW order from the Fronteris Group to supply two wind farms in southern Germany.

The Hohenzellig and Bucheck projects are located near Hof in Bavaria, and the deal includes 12 of Nordex's N117/2400 wind turbines. Nordex says the turbines will have 141-meter towers and be ideally suited for the regional wind conditions.

The contracts for both projects include a 15-year premium service agreement, and Nordex also will be establishing a service station at the site. The project was developed by Primus Energie GmbH, a subsidiary of the Fronteris Group. The two projects are due to be completed at the end of 2015.
