Now that they have secured financing via KGAL Investment Management, turbine maker Nordex and partner H2air Group say they are now able to begin building the 75 MW Seine Rive Gauche Nord wind farm, their largest wind project in France to date.
The farm comprises 30 N100/2500 kW wind turbines, which Nordex will be supplying and installing in 2015. The local preparatory work will commence this spring.
Both companies have worked together in the past on project development. When the Gauche Nord wind farm is complete, H2air will be responsible for technical and commercial operations management.
"This project marks a major success for me for many reasons. For one thing, it is one of the largest internally developed projects. And, for another, it underscores the good cooperation via important partners in France and Germany," says Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, a Nordex board member.
