Turbine manufacturer Nordex has been awarded two contracts for Turkey-based wind projects totaling 55.3 MW.
According to Nordex, the first contract is for Yahyali wind farm and calls for the installation of 22 N117/2400 Generation Gamma turbines. The Yahyali project is being executed in Central Anatolia. With an average wind speed of 6.6 m/s, the expected annual energy yield comes to around 130 million kWh. A five-year service contract will take effect when the project is complete.
The second contract is with Dost Enerji, which purchased a single Nordex N90/2500 turbine for the Geres wind farm. The turbine will be added to the 11 existing Nordex N90/2500 turbines that were installed last year.
