Turbine maker Nordex says that RWE Innogy has ordered seven N117/2400 wind turbines for a 17 MW wind project located in Poland.
According to Nordex, site conditions necessitated the use of the company's N117/2400 turbine platform. Despite the fact that the overall height of the turbines has been capped at 150 meters by an administrative order, the wind farm will have an above-average capacity factor of 34%, notes Nordex.
The wind turbines are to be installed this summer. The company has also signed a 15-year premium service contract for the turbines.
