Noble Environmental Power plans to sell a majority interest in its Granite Reliable Power Windpark to Brookfield Renewable Power Inc. The 99 MW project is located in Coos County, N.H.
The completion of the sale is expected to occur upon satisfaction of certain conditions and receipt of third-party approvals, according to the company. The purchase and sales agreement, when complete, will not change any of the existing permits or plans for the project. The facility's anticipated commercial operation is December 2011.
The project will employ 33 V90-3.0 MW Vestas turbines.
