Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for 23 V110-2.0 MW turbines for a wind power plant, located in India's Karnataka region.
According to Vestas, the contract calls for the supply and installation of the wind turbines as well as a 15-year service contract, in which the turbine maker guarantees availability and performance. The project also includes the supply of foundations and a monitoring and preventive maintenance package.
Delivery and commissioning are expected during the second quarter of 2016. At the customer's request, additional project details were not disclosed.
