Altra Wind Technology has launched a new website that the company says provides engineers and professionals in the wind turbine industry with a resource for application-specific power transmission and motion control solutions.
The online resource is organized into six categories: blade-pitch brakes, yaw brakes, shaft-locking devices, rotor brakes, high-speed shaft couplings and access hatch actuators.
Within the application categories are products, photos, features and benefits of each Altra product that can be applied to improve operational efficiency, productivity, safety and reliability, the company explains.
