New Mexico's Renewable Energy Transmission Authority (RETA) will hold its first meeting on Sept. 12 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Santa Fe, N.M., City Hall at 200 Lincoln Ave. and is open to the public. An agenda for the meeting will be available 24 hours prior to the meeting at emnrd.state.nm.us or at the Office of the Secretary for Department of Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources, located at 1220 St. Francis Drive, Santa Fe.
RETA is a state-level financing authority focused on developing the towers, lines and other infrastructure needed to carry electricity generated by renewable resources to waiting markets.
