U.K.-based Transmission Capital Partners has appointed renewable energy consultancy Natural Power to deliver NP/ControlCentre services on the electricity transmission network for Vattenfall's 150 MW Ormonde Offshore Wind Farm, located in the Irish Sea.
Natural Power's NP/ControlCentre (previously known as WindCentre) is an operational control room providing onshore and offshore site management services for a range of renewable sectors. According to the company, services include 24/7 alarm monitoring, voltage control, access control, emergency de-energization and emergency response management.
Natural Power notes that its asset management team currently manages 139 wind farms globally.
