National Clean Fuels Inc. has completed the process of changing its name from National Wind Solutions. The change is indicative of the company's move to advance its clean fuel business beyond the wind power industry.
Shareholders approved the name change, along with a 300-to-1 reverse stock split, in January. The company's application for a new ticker symbol was approved by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and it began trading under its new ticker symbol – NACF – on March 17.
In addition, Kathleen Delaney resigned as chairwoman and CEO. Maurice Stone, the company's president and a member of the board of directors, assumed the position of chairman.
