Broomfield, Colo.-based MWH, a global provider of environmental engineering, strategic consulting and construction services, has introduced its sustainable energy management services (SEM) to industrial clients in the U.S.
Building on its success in Europe and Asia-Pacific, MWH is now providing SEM solutions in the U.S. to meet the increasing demand for sustainability, greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction and energy efficiency services, the company says. The offering will include energy efficiency assessments for businesses and manufacturing facilities, oversight in the design of energy management programs, and identification and analysis of potential energy conservation measures.
‘Making our sustainable energy management services available to U.S.-based clients provides an opportunity for MWH to leverage our sustainability expertise and strong reputation in this field and build upon the portfolio of services we provide to industrial and manufacturing clients,’ says Alan Krause, president and chief operating officer of MWH. ‘This service offering is consistent with MWH's purpose of building a better world by helping companies reduce their energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.’
Utilizing a programmatic approach to energy management, MWH's SEM services leverage best practices and lessons learned from facility to facility, regardless of location. Clients can benefit from compounded savings and GHG reductions as the programs are applied across their operations, MWH says.
‘Other benefits to clients include MWH's ability to deliver services globally and provide an independent viewpoint that does not favor equipment vendors, service contracts, the sale of large capital projects, or energy brokering,’ adds Don Walsh, MWH's manufacturing market sector leader.
