Mansfield, Texas-based Mouser Electronics Inc., an electronic component distributor, has signed a global catalog distribution agreement with San Diego-based Maxwell Technologies Inc., a developer and manufacturer of ultracapacitor-based energy-storage and power-delivery solutions.
‘Maxwell's ultracapacitors can benefit many applications – from those requiring short power pulses to those that require low-power support of critical memory systems,’ says Barry McConnell, senior vice president of products at Mouser.
Mouser's Maxwell stock includes a wide range of ultracapacitors ranging from 2.5 V to 125 V that can be utilized with renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and hydro.
According to Mouser, Maxwell's BOOSTCAP ultracapacitors provide a wide range of choices for energy storage and power delivery – some with higher energy for longer discharge applications and others with higher power for fast discharge applications.
