Birmingham, Ala.-based Motion Industries has acquired substantially all of the North American assets of BC Bearing Engineers Ltd., headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and US Bearings & Things Inc., headquartered in Vancouver, Wash. Founded in 1936, the company is a long-established bearing and power transmission distributor operating in 47 locations throughout western Canada and the western U.S.
BC Bearing Engineers and US Bearings & Things, d/b/a US Bearings and Drives, provide technical support and design capabilities for a broad customer base, including wind energy, forestry, pulp and paper, mining, agriculture, oil and gas.
Motion Industries is an industrial parts distributor of bearings, mechanical power transmission, electrical and industrial automation, hydraulic and industrial hose, hydraulic and pneumatic components, industrial products, and material handling.Â
