Bennington, N.H.-headquartered Monadnock Paper Mills Inc. has invested in enough Green-e wind power renewable energy credits to cover 100% of the energy used in the manufacture of its graphic arts printing and packaging papers.
In recognition of this purchase – combined with Monadnack's acquisition of enough carbon-offset credits to make the manufacture of its papers carbon-neutral – the Environmental Protection Agency has awarded Monadnock its certificate of leadership in the Green Power Leadership program, the company adds.
