MLS Electrosystem LLC is hosting an open house by invitation on Sept. 18 to celebrate its recently established global headquarters at 1300 Commerce Drive in Moon Township, Pa.
MLS designs, engineers and manufactures custom, modular servo blade pitch control systems for utility-grade wind turbines. The systems feature power control and emergency power modules coupled with electric servo motors that provide individual blade pitch control.
Some of the features of the MLS pitch control system include a servo ride-through feature that ensures continual operation through grid power loss events, blade strain gauge integration to monitor the stress on the blades and an automatic continual battery health-monitoring feature.
