Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas has entered into agreements with developer Infigen to provide warranty, maintenance and services for five of the developer's U.S.-based wind farms.
Mitsubishi says the agreements cover 564 of its 1 MW wind turbines in four states. The company did not specify the names of the wind farms or their locations.
Infigen – which owns and operates 24 wind farms across Australia and the U.S. – says the maintenance agreements will help contain post-warranty costs across its U.S. portfolio. The agreements will also reduce the post-warranty working capital needs at each of the wind farms, Infigen notes.
