Houston-based Minerco Resources Inc. has received municipal rights from the municipality of San Marco de Colon, Honduras, for its Sayab wind project. The approval is an important and necessary step in the process of obtaining congressional approval for the project, according to the company.
Minerco recently signed a definitive agreement for the acquisition of the 100 MW project from Energia Renovable Hondurenas SA.
