Oregon-based Met One Instruments Inc. has announced the acquisition of Atmospheric Systems Corp., a California-based provider of meteorological remote sensing using SODAR to measure vertical wind and turbulence profiles.
The parties say this partnership will enable them to continue to grow meteorological markets for wind energy, air quality and atmospheric research. The companies also note that they share mutual clients and complement each other's sales, service and product development.
