WPCS International Inc. (WPCS), a provider of in design-build engineering services for communications infrastructure, has been awarded a contract from the Meskwaki Nation for a renewable wind energy project.
The project entails installation of meteorological towers to determine the viability of the future implementation of wind turbines. The Meskwaki Nation received a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to assist in the completion of this renewable energy project. WPCS will provide engineering and consulting services that will include furnishing and installing the towers, collecting data, issuing wind assessment reports, providing wind analysis reports and tower maintenance.
The Meskwaki Nation is the Sac and Fox Tribe of the Mississippi based in Tama, Iowa, that was created as part of the Indian Reorganization Act of 1934.
