The Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) approved a 20-turbine project from Annapolis-based Synergics Wind Energy.
According to spokesperson Frank Maisano, construction on the Four Mile Ridge wind project, which is located near the West Virginia border, will begin as soon as permits are issued by Garret County officials.
