Halifax, Nova Scotia-based MaManna Renewable Energy has appointed Jonathan Barry its new president and John Simon as vice president of operations. In addition, MaManna has opened a new office in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Barry, who will be based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Saint John, New Brunswick, was formerly vice president for Bell Canada's Enterprise Ontario group, where he was responsible for its business and revenue.
Barry's background includes senior business development and sales positions in start-ups at some of Canada's largest corporations.
As vice president of operations, Simon will lead MaManna's efforts to deliver operational excellence on the product delivery and installation sides of the business.
Simon has had senior positions in both multinational organizations and start-up businesses covering a wide range of industries including telecommunications, energy, government and resources.
