A subsidiary of global financial services firm Macquarie has increased its ownership stake in Idaho Wind Partners (IWP), a 183 MW wind power generation project located near Twin Falls, Idaho.
Macquarie Infrastructure Co., which first acquired a minority interest in IWP in July, now owns 72.4% of the project. Its power generation assets include five solar and two wind power projects. All of the projects feature 20- and 25-year power purchase agreements, which provide predictable revenue over the long term.
