LS Cable & System has obtained certification for its condition-monitoring system (CMS) from Germanischer Lloyd.
LS Cable & System's CMS provides real-time online monitoring of facility operation and component condition through vibration sensors and speedometers installed to monitor bearings, shafts, memory boxes and the generator, according to the company.
LS Cable & System says it obtained certification after passing strict tests, including document reviews and field surveys, by Germanischer Lloyd over a nine-month period.
