Neenah, Wis.-based Kurz Electric Solutions is the latest company to join the expanding North American Wind Service Alliance (NAWSA), a wind generator maintenance and repair company based in Wharton, N.J. Founded in 1918 by William Kurz, the company provides electric motor and generator services to Wisconsin and Michigan.
In 2006, Kurz opened a new 40,000 square-foot service center. This is the hub for the company's extensive in-shop repair services, as well as its on-site NAWSA wind generator repair services. Areas of NAWSA expertise include bearing and slip-ring replacements, diagnostic testing and analysis, and switchgear testing and calibration.
