National City, Calif.-based Knight & Carver Wind Group, a blade repair, service and fabrication firm based in National City, Calif., has entered into a long-term service agreement with WindPro Insurance, a division of GCube Insurance Services Inc.
Under the agreement, Knight & Carver will dispatch its blade inspectors to wind farms with damaged blades within a 48-hour time frame.
This agreement further strengthens the working relationship between the two firms, according to Knight & Carver, who had previously partnered with WindPro to provide a lower deductible and/or rate for wind farm operators that contract with Knight & Carver's service plan for blade repair, service and maintenance.
