Ralph Kirkpatrick was recently appointed vice president and chief engineer for GE Energy Infrastructure. In this role, Kirkpatrick will be responsible for product safety engineering, fleet and systems reliability engineering, design processes and practices, and GE Energy Infrastructure's technical career path and controlled title engineers.
Prior to joining GE, Kirkpatrick was the executive vice president for operations for Rolls Royce Energy Systems, where he was responsible for global operations in manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, engineering, quality and IT in Ohio, Canada and the U.K.
He is also a 22-year veteran of GE Aviation, where he grew his technical knowledge and leadership through positions in engine design, combustion and configuration, and product quality.
