Kaydon Announces New Leadership Structure

Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Kaydon Corp. has announced an internal reorganization focused on driving organic growth within its custom turntable bearing business serving the wind energy market and accelerating profitable international expansion within its friction control products segment.

This reorganization comes after a period of unprecedented order growth and capital investment by Kaydon. According to the company, this structure will allow it to better support the tremendous growth experienced in the wind energy market while prioritizing operational execution throughout the businesses.

John R. Emling has been appointed to the position of group president responsible for several businesses, including the Kaydon custom bearings division, sealing products operations and filtration operations. L. Jeffrey Manzagol has been appointed to the position of president of Kaydon's industrial bearings division, which includes the company's custom turntable business serving the fast-growing wind energy market.


Manzagol will also be responsible for the international development of the bearings business to accelerate expansion outside of North America in the coming years. Both will report directly to James O'Leary, chairman, CEO and president of Kaydon.
