Woodstock, Minn.-based Juhl Wind Inc.'s subsidiary, Next Generation Power Systems (NextGen), has completed a $1 million turbine license and distributorship agreement with SureEnergy of Ohio.
The agreement covers Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Under the terms of the agreement, NextGen has provided exclusive territory distributorship, along with the rights to manufacture its 33 kW wind turbine system on-site.
‘Once SureEnergy is up and running, we expect that their capacity, coupled with expansion at our Pipestone [Minn.] facility, will provide enough manufacturing capability well into the future,’ says John Mitola, president of Juhl Wind.
