Woodstock, Minn.-based Juhl Wind Inc., a community wind developer, has announced that feasibility study agreements were signed with owners of three new wind farms. The projects are located in Thief River Falls, Minn. (a potential 20 MW project), and with the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center in St. Peter, Minn. (up to a 5 MW project). A feasibility and development agreement was also signed with a group of owners for a 5 to 10 MW project in Granite Falls, Minn.

‘With the addition of these three projects, we are now actively working on approximately 19 projects in some stage of development,’ says Dan Juhl, CEO of Juhl Wind. ‘The addition of these projects is very representative of our process – we sign initial agreements and then move along the development cycle with our local owner groups over a normal course of time until we construct and commission a wind farm.’
